Regina Mamou
Regina Mamou received her BFA in Photography from Rhode Island School of Design in 2005 and her MFA in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007.

Selected exhibitions include “Involving Violence” at Lasso Gallery in Chicago and School 33 in Baltimore, “I Try to Erase You but You’re Still Here” at Spoke in Chicago, A.I.R. and Soho20 galleries in New York City, and the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University.

In 2009 Regina curated the exhibition “Faking It?” at the Art Center in Highland Park, Illinois, which included notable artists and an editorial in Newcity.

She is a published artist and her work has been featured in Descry Magazine, I’m a Heat Seeker, and Hayden’s Ferry Review.

Regina is the recipient of a 2009-2010 J. William Foreign Fulbright Scholarship Award to Jordan with a Critical Language Enhancement Award in Arabic and is currently based in Amman.
